A letter from organizations to HHS on January 14, 2016. On behalf of the organizations, we are writing to express our concerns with the Meaningful Use (MU) program and the current state of electronic health records (EHRs).
Arizona Health-e Connection (AzHeC) and Health Information Network of Arizona (HINAz) have completed a merger and are now one operational and legal entity as of January 1, 2016. This merger culminates a collaborative two-year process that began when the Boards of AzHeC and HINAz voted to formally affiliate and combine operations in February 2014.

With 2015 rapidly winding down, DirectTrust released a list of six trends it predicts for interoperable electronic exchange of health information during the coming year.
