A letter from organizations to HHS on January 14, 2016. On behalf of the organizations, we are writing to express our concerns with the Meaningful Use (MU) program and the current state of electronic health records (EHRs).
Findings from the 2016 HIMSS Health Information Technology (IT) Value survey found that 88 percent of organizations with advanced EHR environments identified at least one positive outcome from their use of an EHR, with 83 percent reporting benefits in Clinical Staff Quality Performance.
Arizona Health-e Connection (AzHeC) and Health Information Network of Arizona (HINAz) have completed a merger and are now one operational and legal entity as of January 1, 2016. This merger culminates a collaborative two-year process that began when the Boards of AzHeC and HINAz voted to formally affiliate and combine operations in February 2014.
