CES 2025 Let’s Dive In

CES 2025

CES 2025, the world’s most powerful tech event was your place to experience the innovations transforming how we live, so the promotions boasted. I spent a couple of days at the conference for the first time. It is overwhelming with the size and information overload. I spent my time in the Digital Health Summit, bringing together the entire health ecosystem to learn, network, and explore the role technology plays in advancing and reforming medicine, healthcare and consumer wellness. I must admit it was not as sexy and wowing as the Vehicle Tech, AI Innovations, 3D Printing, 5G Tech, or even the Keynotes. But spending time on the consumer products side of things was a welcome change.

Who knew there were so much interest in robot vacuums, laundry appliances, or pet technology? I think the vacuum people need to get together with the pet tech people to solve the pet fears of robot vacuums. Here are five things from CES which are but a sand pebble in the beach of the events amazing showcase.

Keynotes

Only in Las Vegas can you rave about the venue of a keynote as well as the speaker and experience! You can watch all of the keynote speakers for the event on their site. Here are some highlights.

NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote demonstrated the power of ideas, technology, and conviction to drive innovation and impact in business and society.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian hosted a keynote experience at Sphere. This immersive address highlighted Delta’s vision for using technology to enrich the human experience. Yes at the Sphere!

SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz joined Crime Junkie’s Ashley Flowers to discuss the intersection of technology, creativity, and storytelling in audio.

Age Tech

No surprise the techies are tapping into gerontology. With roughly 62 million adults ages 65 and older living in the US, that accounts for 18% of the population. By 2054, 84 million adults ages 65 and older will make up an estimated 23% of the population. And not to mention control of most of the wealth, it is a technology market ready to prime.

Enter AgeTech Collaborative from AARP bringing together a one-of-a-kind ecosystem of key stakeholders, united in their mission to improve people’s lives as they age. Backed by decades of AARP’s exclusive longevity insights, subject-matter experts, and hands-on guidance, we are driving innovation at the nexus of longevity and technology. Their exhibitor booth brought together several of their collaborative that I visited.

Sports and Fitness

Health and Fitness is not slowing down in interest with the average consumer. The global sports technology market size is estimated to grow by $37.85B from 2024-2028. A good market to be in with a good idea. CES was filled with the latest fitness wearables and gadgets. From treadmills and Walking pads to monitors and simulators, from smart gym equipment to home fitness bikes the Sports and Fitness area had it all.
