We discuss the last mile of communications and what it takes to deliver the right content, in the right form and customized to the individual to create a good patient interaction. It was interesting to hear him talk about some of the very early patient engagement technology that used text pagers in the 1980’s to help deliver better care for HIV patients struggling with th complex 5-drug combo used in that era.
We discuss the characteristics of good physicians who get rave reviews from their patients and talk about how we can help others who don’t and the importance of reading people, learning their preferred means of communication and using technology to help that process and deliver it at scale.
Listen in to hear the breakdown of successful clinicians communicators and how these groups breakdown and can be helped.
