Why he likes producing The Incrementalist: He loves the opportunity to meet new people, explore topics in detail, and learn about new and relevant areas of innovation in healthcare.
Fun Facts
- Only guest to have appeared twice: Eric Topol (@EricTopol) He was kind enough to kick off the show on both episodes. Dr Nic characterizes him as a “generous leader and inspiration to many in healthcare and digital health.”
- Holly is the name of Dr. Nick’s dog and she has appeared live on the show more than once. She is known to “make an appearance” anytime a leaf went past her lookout post or there was a delivery or person that might be thinking about approaching her!
- The number of times I have forgotten to hit record: three. Dr Nick apologizes to those 3 people who were kind, generous, and helped him re-record.
What Surprises Him: He is most surprised by the international nature of the audience (at least evidenced by his blog statics) that include most continents. The statistics for this year are heavily influenced by COVID19 so it is hard to tease out what was most interesting to the audience past that.
Favorite Episode: ‘I won’t single any one show out as I really do enjoy each and everyone I do.”
What He Looks for in a Guest: He is always seeking interesting innovative guests who have managed to find a way to improve healthcare for everyone by tapping into other industries or technologies or by finding a new path to innovation that involved small incremental steps that others can learn from.
