American Telemedicine Association Modernizes Bylaws, Elects New Directors
The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) (@AmericanTelemed) announced its membership has voted to update the association’s bylaws to better reflect current market trends and needs, as well as the culture and purpose of the organization. The bylaw modernization involved clarifying board-level committee responsibilities, revising board and officer election processes, and re-affirming the ATA’s commitment to diversity. As part of the amendments, Joseph C. Kvedar, MD, president of the ATA, will become chair of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. His term as Chair has been extended through April 2022.
