CareCloud, provider of cloud-based practice management, electronic health records (EHR), and medical billing software and services, and ZocDoc, a service that helps patients receive faster access to care and optimizes doctors’ schedules, have announced a partnership in which ZocDoc will fully integrate into CareCloud’s platform via APIs. As a result, CareCloud practices using ZocDoc will have a more seamless experience in allowing patients to instantly book appointments online via ZocDoc.com or the free ZocDoc mobile apps.  This new capability, available in the coming months, will help these two leading services’ joint clients achieve greater efficiency and revenue, while ultimately improving their patients’ experience and access to care.

M*Modal, provider of clinical documentation and Speech Understanding™ solutions,  announced it will provide FirstHealth of the Carolinas with exclusive enterprise-wide front- and back-end speech recognition, transcription, coding and clinical analytics for its electronic health record (EHR) systems. Healthland, provider of integrated solutions to rural community and critical access hospitals, has  announced they have partnered with InteliChart, provider of patient engagement and HIE technology, adding the InteliChart Patient Portal as its exclusive patient engagement solution. Healthland will integrate InteliChart’s 2014 ONC-certified patient portal with its electronic health records (EHR) solution designed for hospitals and ambulatory clinics. This combined offering will provide Healthland clients with a secure way to exchange health data in accordance with Meaningful Use Stage 2 measures.

eClinicalWorks has announced that Chicago’s Rush Health, a clinically integrated network of physicians and hospitals, has endorsed eClinicalWorks EHR solution for its more than 300 affiliated private physician members.
