The Executive Summary states: From August to October 2012, Universal Survey collected feedback on the EHR experiences of specialists in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiology. The objective was to produce an unbiased evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of EHRs based on the point of view of the specialists using them. The study measured feedback during the Meaningful Use Stage 1 reporting period, when practices nationwide were meeting detailed government requirements. National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) is a public-private partnership that enables secure and interoperable nationwide health information exchange to advance health and improve health care.
