Opening Keynote: CMS Quality Payment Program: Performance and Reporting Requirements

Through the Quality Payment Program (QPP), CMS has tied improvement of quality outcomes to all Medicare reimbursement. Clinicians will be required to participate in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS) or a qualified Advanced Payment Model (APM) in order to avoid a significant negative payment adjustment on Medicare reimbursement. In this session, CMS will review the quality measures and performance thresholds that providers must meet in order to avoid a negative payment adjustment.
