Becker’s 10 most-read IT stories of 2015
It is not an event until Becker makes a list. In honor of this National HIT Week they have put together their most read IT related articles. Epic seems to be a recurring theme in the list.
CMS Activities
CMS will share guidance throughout the week to help providers and industry members successfully participate in ongoing CMS health IT initiatives including:
- Quality reporting
- Request for Information (RFI) related to new provisions in the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA):
- Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)
- Alternative Payment Models (APMs)
- Physician-Focused Payment Models (PFPMs)
- Medicare EHR Incentive Program payment adjustments
Politico thinks the guidance will include the release of the final rules that are sorely overdue from the timeline CMS promised.
