Meet us at MGMA in San Antonio

This years MGMA annual conference will be the first since the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) have merged. The conference will be held in San Antonio next week, Oct. 21-24. Look for the conference to provide its usual basic to advanced level educational programs for healthcare professionals that focus on managing the business of medicine in physician practices to healthcare systems. Jim, Carol, and I will be at the event this year attending with press passes to report the event. Look for us to be tweeting ( #MGMA12), posting, and sharing just what is going on at the conference. We are also taking MU Live! to MGMA. Tune in on Tuesday, live streaming only to hear our recorded interview with Jon Dreyer of Nuance. Jon is the Director of Mobile Solutions Marketing for their Healthcare Division. We will be discussing mHealth emerging platforms, challenges of HIPAA security and privacy when it comes to mobile, and what is hot and what is not.
