The ONC released Connecting Health and Care for the Nation: A Shared Nationwide Interoperability Roadmap Version 1.0. The draft Roadmap is a proposal to deliver better care and result in healthier people through the safe and secure exchange and use of electronic health information. They have also created a roadmap infographic showing where we are now and where we are going. By 2024, “A Learning Healthcare System reduces the time from evidence to practice. This enables ubiquitous connectivity, improves population health and helps researchers analyze data from a variety of sources.”
