Independence Blue Cross and Patina announce agreement to offer Medicare Advantage members a new primary care experience
Independence Blue Cross (@ibx) and Patina Medical Group (Patina), a new primary care provider dedicated to improving the health care experience for people 65 and older, announced that they have signed a provider agreement. Through the agreement, Patina will make its primary care services available to Independence Medicare Advantage members participating in Keystone 65 HMO and Personal Choice 65SM PPO plans in 2022.
CareSource Partners with Wayspring to Launch First-Of-Its-Kind SUD Home Program
CareSource (@caresource), a nationally recognized nonprofit health plan, announced a partnership with Wayspring, a leading, value-based provider of high-touch care coordination and treatment services for those with substance use disorder (SUD), launching the first-of-its-kind SUD Home program for the state of Indiana. This collaboration leverages Wayspring’s SUD-focused analytics platform and local, community-based teams of medical clinicians, social workers and peer recovery specialists to support the complex medical, behavioral and social needs of members with SUD.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield Companies Partnering with Civica to Increase Access to Affordable Insulin
The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (@BCBSAssociation) and other Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies joined Civica’s initiative to manufacture and distribute affordable insulins that, once approved, will be available to people living with diabetes at significantly lower prices than insulins currently on the market. The medications are expected to be available to all consumers for $30 or less per vial starting in 2024.

CVS Health (@cvshealth) has announced that its board of directors has approved a quarterly dividend of fifty-five cents ($0.55) per share on the Common Stock of the Corporation. The dividend is payable on May 2, 2022, to holders of record on April 22, 2022.
UnitedHealth Group Board Authorizes Payment of Quarterly Dividend
The UnitedHealth Group (@UnitedHealthGr) board of directors has authorized payment of a cash dividend of $1.45 per share, to be paid on March 22, 2022, to all shareholders of record of UnitedHealth Group common stock as of the close of business on March 14, 2022.
Humana Board Declares Payment of Quarterly Dividend to Stockholders
Humana Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend to stockholders of $0.7875 per share payable on April 29, 2022 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 31, 2022. The dividend of $0.7875 per share reflects an increase of 12.5 percent from the previous per share dividend of $0.70.
Cigna Announces Significant Increase to Share Repurchase Program and Capital Deployment
Global health service company Cigna Corporation (@cigna) announced a series of capital deployment priorities designed to enhance shareholder value and deliver long-term growth. Cigna expects to generate over $12 billion of deployable capital in 2022, including $5.4 billion in after-tax proceeds from the previously announced sale of its international life, accident, and supplemental benefits businesses in seven countries.
