California – SacValley MedShare
SacValley MedShare (@svmshie) is a member of the California Association of Health Information Exchanges (CAHIE) and serves the 16-county region of California, north of Sacramento, which includes the North Central Valley and the surrounding mountainous terrain. Its region is largely rural and mountainous, with travel limited by climate and season in much of the area. Good communication is critical to coordinate care between primary care, specialists, hospital providers, and skilled nursing care facilities that fulfill a vital role in post-discharge care for many patients.
Board Member Changes – At the Board of Directors meeting on August 8, 2019, SacValley MedShare voted to replace the Vice-Chair position vacated by Chris Jones, with Tony Evans, CIO of Enloe Medical Center. Dr. Kevin Dorsey-Tyler was ratified as a non-voting member. Michael Conti, Technology Manager and County Privacy Officer for Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency was also placed on the board, filling the voting member seat vacated by Dr. Dorsey-Tyler. SacValley MedShare welcomes Mr. Evans and Mr. Conti to the board of directors as their experience and expertise will contribute considerably to the company’s growth and business strategies.

Maine – HealthInfoNet
HealthInfoNet (@hinfonet) is a Maine-based, independent nonprofit designated by the State of Maine to operate Maine’s statewide health information exchange. The HIE links medical information from separate health care sites to create a single electronic patient health record. This record is accessible to a patient’s authorized health care providers to support treatment. HealthInfoNet provides a secure, standardized electronic system where health care providers can share important patient information, giving them the tools they need to make more informed treatment decisions, especially in an emergency.

Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN)
The Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (@MiHIN) is Michigan’s initiative to continuously improve health care quality, efficiency, and patient safety by promoting secure, electronic exchange of health information through the MiHIN Health Information Services Cloud (HISC). MiHIN represents a growing network of public and private organizations working to overcome data sharing barriers, reduce costs, and ultimately advance the health of Michigan’s population.

Michigan – Great Lakes Health Connect (GLHC)
Great Lakes Health Connect (@GLHC_HIE) is one of the largest and most successful Health Information Exchanges in the country and is growing rapidly. GLHC is committed to creating care-connected communities across Michigan. Their vision is to enhance patient experience, improve health outcomes, and reduce costs across the continuum of care.
Great Lakes Health Connect Surpasses 1 Million Referrals Across 11,000 Users with Holon – Holon Solutions, a healthcare information technology company that liberates the data to liberate the care, announced that GLHC has surpassed access to more than 1 million closed-loop referrals statewide since Fall 2017 using Holon’s CollaborNet® Referrals application.
Utah Health Information Network (UHIN)
UHIN (@UHIN_HIE) has been in operation since 1993 beginning as a claims “post office.” Today it also operates the Clinical Health Information Exchange (cHIE), which empowers doctors and patients to work together for safer, better-coordinated care by making crucial information available to doctors at the point of care.

Missouri – Missouri Health Connect (MHC)
Missouri Health Connect (@HealthConnectMO), a non‐profit organization, is the state‐designated HIE organization that provides a secure and private electronic platform for sharing health information.
Missouri Health Connection and Kansas Health Information Network Finalize Data Sharing Agreement – Bringing resolution to a much needed issue for health data sharing in the Midwest, Missouri Health Connection and the Kansas Health Information Network [and its subsidiary KAMMCO Health Solutions (KHS) dba SHINE] executed a comprehensive data sharing agreement effective August 12, 2019. MHC and KHIN are generally considered to be two of the largest health information exchanges in the nation and a data exchange relationship between both is an eminent sign of success for the health care providers in Missouri, Kansas and their contiguous states.
Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP)
Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (@crisphealth) is a regional health information exchange (HIE) serving Maryland and the District of Columbia. CRISP is a non-profit organization advised by a wide range of stakeholders who are responsible for healthcare throughout the region. CRISP has been formally designated as Maryland’s statewide health information exchange by the Maryland Health Care Commission.
ADVault and CRISP Announce Expansion of MyDirectives Integration for Maryland and D.C. Citizens – CRISP (@crisphealth), the designated health information exchange (HIE) covering patients across Maryland and the District of Columbia, announced the expansion of its technical integration with ADVault, Inc., the global leader in digital advance care planning. First integrated over five years ago, the new deployment incorporates the latest in global healthcare data content and transport standards allowing CRISP partner hospitals to automatically receive real-time advance care planning information created by the individual. This information, previously not found or inefficiently created at the scene of a health crisis, has been proven to guide providers and patients into more meaningful encounters and improved outcomes.
Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NeHII)
Nebraska Health Information Initiative (@NeHIIorg) is leading the effort to create a secure, online, web-based Health Information Exchange designed to serve the state of Nebraska. Improved delivery of health care information and reduced health care costs are good for all citizens of Nebraska. The state has a proud tradition and reputation of providing the finest health care possible to its citizens. The HIE will help health care providers take health care to the next level.
NEHII moves one step closer to interoperability through faster, streamlined communications – Secure Exchange Solutions (SES), a provider of interoperable, cloud-based clinical data exchange technology, announced a partnership with the Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NEHII), a not-for-profit statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) designed to share clinical and administrative data among providers in Nebraska and neighboring states.
