Ohio – CliniSync
CliniSync (@CliniSync) is a nonprofit, independent, private organization originally funded from HITECH and the ONC. The Ohio Health Information Partnership assisted providers in EHR adoption and the infrastructure for statewide HIE. It was named CliniSync, which signifies Clinical data synchronization. Their April Newsletter is reporting, the Ohio Health Information Technology Day will be April 27. This is the day when legislators get updates about Health Information Technology in Ohio and will take place in downtown Columbus at the Statehouse Atrium and in Cleveland at the HIMSS Innovation Center. Texas
Greater Houston Healthconnect (Healthconnect)
Healthconnect (@HealthconnectTX), the HIE serving Southeast Texas, has received full accreditation from the Texas Health Information Exchange Accreditation Program (TX-HIEAP), achieving one of the highest levels of accreditation possible for the exchange of electronic health records.
Healthcare Access San Antonio (HASA)
HASA (@HASA_TX), the HIE serving South/Central Texas, 22 counties including Baxtar, is reporting these numbers for April of 2016 regarding their exchange.
Michigan – Great Lakes Health Connect (GLHC)
The purpose of advanced care planning is to guarantee that patients’ wishes will all be met if a situation arises where they cannot make their own decisions. Making Choices Michigan (MCM) and Spectrum Health’s Next Steps program have teamed up with GLHC (@GHLC_HIE) and in turn have expanded the number of patient care documents and advanced directives in its health information exchange registry.

Colorado Regional Health Information Exchange (CORHIO)
@CORHIO celebrates its five year anniversary this month. To date CORHIO has 53 hospitals and more than 4,000 provider participants connected to the HIE. Additionally, hospitals and other health information exchanges across state lines in Kansas, New Mexico, and Wyoming have increased CORHIO’s network. Quality Health Network, the HIE on Colorado’s western slope, is also working with CORHIO toward full data exchange.
Massachusetts – The Mass HIway
Community Health Centers (CHCs) serve as primary care providers, social support agencies and economic engines transforming their communities, one patient at a time. To help CHCs prepare for and successfully connect to the state’s HIE, The Massachusetts Health Information Highway, (#MassHIway), The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (@massleague) with a CHC HIE Collaborative selected eMedApps (@emedapps), a healthcare IT interoperability consulting company specializing in EHR and HIE integration, as the lead vendor for developing CHC HIE connectivity.
