Supporting the adoption of health IT and the promotion of nationwide health information exchange to improve health care, here is what is happening at the ONC.
WEDI announced that Elise Sweeney Anthony, J.D., Executive Director, Office of Policy at the Office of the ONC will headline the 2019 WEDI Spring Conference. The event will take place this May 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine in San Diego, CA.
Annual reports and studies that have been published ranging from the state of interoperability, physician burnout, mergers & acquisitions, and hospital data.
ONC and CMS both released proposed rules on February 11, 2019. These rules will be published in the Federal Register on March 4 and will begin the 60 day comment period.
ONC will host an informational webinar on February 28th at 2 PM ET to provide further details on the proposed rule and to answer general questions.
