Today’s Tip from Ryan:
If you’re a consultant looking for a new engagement, you probably get a barrage of phone calls and emails from recruiters who found out you are either available or becoming available. It makes sense that, to cut the hassle and noise, people tend to go with a familiar firm they’ve worked with before. I’d suggest, however, that you look at all the opportunities coming through your inbox and take the call from a recruiter who is calling for the first time. You may discover the opportunities they’ve got are more closely aligned to what you’re looking for.
