Health IT Summit in Austin
December 11-12, 2013 Hyatt Regency, Austin TX – Each year, the Institute hosts a series of events & programs which promote improvements in the quality, safety, and efficiency of health care through information technology and facilitating knowledge exchange. iHT² programs are designed to support multi-stakeholder organizations who are navigating through health IT issues, policies and strategies in an attempt to improve care. Institute programs include a variety of guest speakers and keynotes representing many diverse sectors within health care. Speaker faculty provide expert advice, practical recommendations, solution-oriented best practices and reactions related to the most pressing issues.
IHE North American Connectathon
January 27 – 31, 2014 Hyatt Regency, Chicago IL – What is an IHE Connectathon? Connectathons are a cross-vendor, live, supervised and structured testing event where vendors test implementations of IHE Profiles defined in IHE’s Technical Frameworks.
- Tests are evaluated on interoperability and conformance to IHE Profiles.
- Testing is overseen by our technical managers and team of 70 trained monitors.
111th Annual FOMA Convention
February 19-23, 2014 Bonaventure Resort and Spa, Weston FL – The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) 111th Annual Convention will be held February 19-23, 2014 at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa in Weston, Florida. Included in the program will be the Florida mandatory hours of 1-A CME credits: Professional and Medical Ethics, Florida Laws and Rules, Prevention of Medical Errors, and Federal and State Laws Related to the Prescribing of Controlled Substances. Also being offered will be 2 hrs. of Domestic Violence. The Convention will offer approximately 34 hours of 1-A CME credits.
