Enhanced Tools to Prepare Practices for Regulatory Changes Ahead
TAMPA, FL – Vitera Healthcare Solutions, the nation’s premier provider of ambulatory electronic health records (EHR) and practice management (PM) software and services, announced it will introduce enhanced solutions and services at MGMA 2013 to help physicians prepare their practices for industry and regulatory changes ahead.
Vitera is a premier sponsor of the Medical Group Management Association’s annual conference, one of the largest professional development and healthcare management conferences in the country, being held Oct. 6-9 in San Diego.
“I enjoy the chance to talk to other practices about how Vitera’s products have helped us improve our practice and better care for our patients,” said Jeanette Christopher, Northwest Primary Care Group, P.C., who will attend MGMA and present in Vitera’s booth. “With so many new changes in the industry, it’s important to share insights and best practices about the tools that keep our practices running smoothly and our patients healthy.”
“We always look forward to joining our customers, business partners and other industry leaders at MGMA’s annual conference, and this year is no exception,” said Matthew J. Hawkins, CEO of Vitera Healthcare Solutions. “We enjoy the opportunity to support MGMA and present new solution enhancements that help practices grow profitably, increase practice efficiencies and improve patient outcomes in a changing healthcare environment.”
The company will preview its Vitera Intergy v9.00, an industry-leading EHR solution that is Meaningful Use 2014 Edition-certified, ICD–10-ready and enhanced with an intuitive, customizable way to help physician’s document patient encounters.
Independent researcher Black Book Market Research rated Vitera No. 1 in its 2013 EHR user satisfaction survey, and Vitera recently won the Frost & Sullivan 2013 Customer Value Enhancement Award for outstanding customer service and customer return on investment.
Other demonstrations at MGMA include: Vitera Stat, a cloud-based, all-in-one PM and EHR solution; Vitera Clinical Exchange, which connects practices to hospitals, state immunization registries and HIEs; and Vitera Practice Analytics, which provides financial and clinical role-based dashboards that report on patient risk levels and core coordination programs.
Much of healthcare reform, including emerging incentive-based payment models such as the Patient-Centered Medical Home, will rely on leading technologies like Vitera Intergy to help transition the industry from a volume-based system to a quality-based system.
Vitera Intergy v.900 was recently approved for 2011 PCMH prevalidation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the most popular Patient Centered Medical Home program. It is one of only three ambulatory EHR solutions to earn this designation.
Hawkins added, “We are continually creating better ways to serve our current and prospective customers and to prepare them for a successful future in healthcare, and MGMA gives us the opportunity to demonstrate that.”
